To secure specific servers, we should configure server built-in firewall. ( For example, iptables is being used in Linux distros)
The firewall should be configured to:
– Allow public access to required ports  of specific servers only.
( For example, website which is running on TCP port 80 and need public access. So open that port only.)
– For those ports which are publicly accessible, the firewall must be configured to rate limit the traffic to that port.
– Keep SSH access to any server accessible from predefined IPs only.
– Set default ingress (INPUT) policy to DROP.
– Monitor egress (OUTPUT) traffic monitoring rules as well, to prevent any attacks done using IP Spoofing.
– Set default egress policy to DROP.

My organization needs a soft fax solution. We are in the process of abandoning/have abandoned our conventional fax system. Does your organization provide one?
